Wedding photography has evolved considerably over recent years. It has become a domain only professional photographers should venture into.

Modern brides understand that not only do you want good wedding photography, but are aware of the importance of getting a combination of sensibly posed, elegantly lit portraits mixed with a collection of professionally shot photos.

There is no longer one way to photograph a wedding. There are a myriad of photographs to be taken including, formal portraits,
candids and artistic photo journalism. I believe that a combination of these is the best mix of styles to fully capture this special day.

To enhance your wedding the ‘wow’ factor is necessary in your wedding photography. I prepare well prior to the wedding day, ensuring the photos taken will match your needs and personal preferences.

Part of this is taking a thoughtful look at where your are having your ceremony checking out aspects of the location that will compliment your wedding photos.

To ensure a full range of photographs are taken, we can start from the bridal party preparation venue. The photographs at the service will include, the signing of the marriage documents, giving of the rings and the kiss followed by informal and formal shots of friends and family after the service.
Then onto your chosen locations, which is a great time to relax and enjoy fun professional images with your bridal party in a natural, candid style or more formal style if you wish.

These photographs tend to be the planned, artistic photos. Following this session we can return to the reception to capture candid and formal photographs of your family and friends as well as special moments such as the cutting of the cake and head table shots.

As I have mentioned ensuring your photographs are suited to your personal needs, a checklist will be supplied to you. This will help give us a guide as to what shots and style you will require on the day. Talk to your married friends and your wedding coordinator for additional ideas.
